An Evening of International Contemporary Folk Music

New Art Exchange & Midlands World Music Consortium present an evening of international contemporary folk music.

Arieb Ahzar ( Pakistan) + SPECIAL GUESTS from PAKISTAN! + Iryna Muha ( Ukraine / Nottingham)

Sufi-folk musician, Arieb Azhar is a melting pot of musical and artistic influences. A Croatian Pakistani, he spent 13 years in Zagreb, performing everywhere from streets to concert halls, collaborating and recording with artists from around the world. Arieb uses his music as a tool to help support various political movements.

Iryna Muha is Ukrainian born singer, songwriter, hurdy-gurdy and guitar player. Together with her Nottingham’s band MUHA she released recordings and played hundreds of shows across the UK, including live show on BBC Radio 3.
