Darbar Fringe Festival
15 June 2018 - 17 June 2018
New Art Exchange
A brand new annual festival discovering the confluence between urban, contemporary and classical contexts and exploring the significance cultural influences on art and UK identity. At its heart, the festival draws inspiration from the Darbar Festival, the largest Indian classical festival outside of India and New Art Exchange, UK's leading national arts venue, exploring contemporary cultural representations through art and culture.
What happens if you bring together a beatboxer, two classical musicians from Western and Indian music genres and a visual artist? The Fringe residency does just that by providing a new incubation space for diverse artists to create a new piece titled AFTERGLOW. Don't miss the concerts, talks, debates and literature, and experience delicious food during brunch flash concerts.
