Nottingham Arts Mela Family Day

The family fun finale of Nottingham Mela takes place at the beautiful Arboretum Park for a day of celebrations and family-friendly fun.
There will be South Asian street food, mehndi, dance workshops, craft stalls, creative activities for all ages as well as live music and dance performances across the two stages. Plus, a funfair for the little ones.

WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES
Throughout the afternoon you will find food and craft stalls, a children's fairground, face-painting and mehndi, carom board games, Rangoli workshops and artwork and lots of activities for families and young people.
From lively Bollywood Zumba to yoga, puppetry and storytelling with Mashi Theatre.
Kavya Raang and friends recite multi-lingual poetry.
Sarah Sayeed - resident of Jaipur Literature Festival 2018 interactive creative writing workshop and performance.
UNESCO Nottingham City of Literature pop up Library, 30 key South Asian literature books over 30 years, as well as School of Languages.
