Nottingham Mela Weekend launches with two exceptional performances by the 'Prince' of Kathak, Aakash Odedra and Bharatanatyam artist, Seeta Patel.

Join Skinder Hundal in conversation with Aakash and Seeta following their performances.

And later, DJ Aïcha brings a relaxed party vibe to the New Art Exchange cafe with a set inspired by world music, hiphop and electronic beats to the New Art Exchange cafe.

6:30pm: Drinks Reception

7pm - 8:15pm: Dance Performances and In Conversation with Aakash Odedra and Seeta Patel

8:30 - 10:30pm - DJ Aïcha
