New Art Exchange

NAE Open selected artist Umama Hamido performs this cinematic live art piece combining film, text, soundscore and rap. Presenting fictional memoirs based on hallucinations and dreams, out-of-body experiences and superpowers, the
scenes slip between Akka in Palestine, a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, Hamido's birthplace in Beirut and the artist's current home city, London. The work was developed with her friend Tareq Al-Jazzar.
