Fifty women from Syria, all forced into exile in Jordan, came together in Autumn 2013 to create and perform their own version of The Trojan Women, the timeless Ancient Greek tragedy about the plight of women in war. Following the film will be a panel discussion featuring two speakers from Syria in addition to Dr Agnes Woolley from Royal Holloway College, University of London, and Emeritus Professor Roger Bromley from University of Nottingham.
