20 October 2018, 10:30am - 12:30pm

New Art Exchange

Join us for the first of three workshops exploring the adventures of Anancy – the mischievous spider. Each week we'll be looking at different themes explored in stories about Anancy, a traditional Caribbean folk character.

This week we'll be listening to the story Why the Cat Chases the Rat and making our own Anancy characters. We'll also be tasting some of the foods that you'll hear about in the story!

Part of our celebration of the 70th anniversary of Windrush. We are pleased to welcome celebrated poet, educator and co-founder of Nottingham Black Archive, Panya Banjoko to lead these sessions.
