Saturday Art Club
12 June 2021, 10.30am-12.30pm
FOREST RECREATION GROUND
To celebrate the return of Saturday Art Club in person, led by Associate Artist Ursula Rae we will create a large-scale patchwork that celebrates our SAC community.
We are inviting each family group/bubble to create their own artwork that represents and celebrates them. Whilst making our individual artworks, we will think about large scale portraits, adding words, messages and imagery that we want to share about ourselves with the rest of the SAC group. Each group's individual artwork will be joined to a collective larger patchwork by Ursula and NAE staff, celebrating the coming together of our families at New Art Exchange again. This activity will invite families/groups to ask questions, share stories and talk about their group portraits whilst they make.
There are limited places; please book a slot for each member of your household or group, including adults and children; this allows for social distancing and to adhere to new room capacity restrictions.
Please meet 5 minutes before your booked session is due to start outside of Homemade Cafe (at The Pavilion).
