Walk the Talk

Walk the Talk is a series of themed, facilitated walks exploring topical social issues while enjoying the landscape and wildlife.
The event is open to members of the general public as well as representatives from local agencies and community organisations. Walk the Talk is a great opportunity to discuss current social issues and learn about the work being done in Nottingham, while improving your wellbeing through moderate activity.
Our next walk is happening on Thursday 3rd October, from 11 am - 1 pm. The focus is Wellbeing and Self Care.
During the walk, we will discuss how to look after our wellbeing, exploring self-care practices that we can use to rest, renew our energy levels, handle stress, preventing fatigue and burn out.
The walk will include some very gentle yoga (no mats required as the yoga will be seated or standing).
Facilitators will be on hand to encourage discussion and record key points discussed during the walk.
