The writing social sessions will be a moment for all to gather, socialise with the love of writing as a point of connection for all.

We will start the season with a session with Victoria Williams.

Biography

Victoria Williams is a Jamaican ex-patriot residing in Nottingham for over 50 years. Victoria has self-published her debut book of poems, New Horizons of Hope. The book showcases a rich and colourful array of poems, providing an insight into theology, fashion, motivation, history, colloquial language, and the ethos of cultural diversity on the Jamaican horizon. The autobiographical profile is poised to leave nothing short of a legacy, which will be taken to the next generation.

As a Performer and Orator, Victoria has performed at various poetry events. Victoria’s writings are filled with humour, inspiration, and motivation. As a speaker. Victoria has been awarded with an ASC Certificate of achievement.

Her work, featured in Left Lion Magazine, ‘No Tears for Me My Mother’ by Panya Banjoko, ‘When we Speak, an Anthology of Black Writers in Nottingham and Poets in the Spotlight by United Publishing Press.
