New Art Exchange

YARD (Youth Arts Research and Development) is a creative hub for young people to develop skills as performers and creative producers.

Are you interested in learning about acting, writing scripts, developing characters and putting on performances? Come join our young people's theatre group! Led by experienced drama practitioner and theatre maker, Parmjit Sagoo, the sessions will develop performance skills, explore different styles and genres of drama and learn about devising original theatre.

We are currently looking for new members to join YARD!

For further details, and if you would like to join YARD Theatre, just contact yard@nae.org.uk, or call in for a chat!

YOUnique Festival 2020

YOUnique is an exciting arts festival organised by, and for, young people in Nottingham. It is a chance for us to come together, share our creativity, celebrate who we are and express our views on issues that matter to us. Come along on the day and take part in creative workshops, see artwork and enjoy performances created by young people across the city.

This year's festival theme is Identity: Who Am I?

This year we would like even more young people to be involved in YOUnique. This is your opportunity to take part and have your say! You can take part in the festival by writing a poem, story or song, creating a dance or piece of drama, making a piece of art or using photography. Whatever you create must explore this year's theme of Identity: Who Am I? On the festival day, you will have a chance to share your work as a live performance, or as part of a pop up art exhibition.

If you would like to get involved or find out more, please email us at younique@nae.org.uk by Friday 7 February.
