NAE OPEN 2020

4 July 2020 - 30 August 2020

New Art Exchange

The NAE Open returns summer 2020!

Application portal opens : 14 Feb 2020

Exhibition launch party: 6pm, Friday 3 July 2020

The NAE Open is an open platform exhibition for artists to apply and exhibit their work. A key aim of the project is to create a platform which supports the development of artists and raises their profile. Beyond the public exhibition itself which will launch on Friday 3 July, 6pm, a number of prizes will be awarded over the course of the show including cash prizes and a range of professional development opportunities.

Given NAE's key priorities in supporting both culturally diverse and local talent, the project is open to all artists living in Nottinghamshire, and also to artists of culturally diverse heritage and those exploring diversity within their practice living anywhere in the UK. Artworks must have been made within the last three years.

Once applications to exhibit have been submitted, a panel of judges will shortlist what they felt to be the most innovative and accomplished works. Approximately 70 artworks across all artforms, including live art, were presented in the 2019 iteration of the show.

The application portal will open on 14 February with full details. In the meantime, to stay in touch about the project please follow NAE's social media and join our NAE Open 2020 mailing list.
