What Are Your Access Requirements?

NAE aims to be accessible for all audiences. You are welcome to call in advance to discuss your access requirements and what NAE can do to make your visit an enjoyable one. A lift is in operation, the building is fitted with induction loops for enhanced sound, we have accessible toilets, and disabled parking is available on request. Additional access provision for the July – September season includes:

› Easy Read/Large Print materials for all exhibitions
› Audio Descriptions and Closed Captions for Altered Landscapes
Verbal Imaging Gallery Tour – Tuesday 8 August, 12pm – 1pm.
Body as Canvas workshop for young adults with learning and physical disabilities – Thursday 14 September, 10.30am & 1pm.

Resources can be collected from reception. Contact us to book tours or workshops.

Access to our Central Gallery exhibition space is limited for wheelchair users as it is located in our stairwell. However, a printed version of the show is available from reception. Altered Landscapes and Bhairav contain darkened film installations – torches and ushers can be provided on request.
