Black History Month

Black History Month is a time to reflect and give tribute to the pioneers that strived for equality, and creating a greater acceptance of our differences.
Come along and celebrate the contributions made by Black people in Britain with our annual programme of events!

Young, Black & Present
Saturday 28 October

What does it mean to be young, black and British today? How are young people in Nottingham responding to contemporary issues through their work, community action, art and activism?
This Black History Season, we host a special event to provide space for young creatives within the city to present their practise to new audiences, and to speak about the experiences that have shaped their work. This event intends to inspire a new generation of young creatives and activists within the city.
