Call Out For Stall Holders: Craft & Culture Fair 2019
Craft & Culture Fair
Saturday 30 November 2019
12pm - 5pm
Call out for stall holders:
We're looking for craft makers/designers/creatives to sell work at this year's annual Craft & Culture Fair
We are currently accepting applications to book stalls and would love to hear from you.
Are you a creative with work to sell? Do you make beautiful knitted gloves and scarves, or are you the best shea butter whipper in town? Can you work wonders with Dutch wax cotton or create beautiful batik patterns?
The Craft & Culture Fair returns this year to NAE, and we're looking to showcase the work of makers, crafters and designers from all around us in the local community. Aiming to capture the colour and vibrancy of the diverse cultures all around us in Hyson Green and beyond, the fair is about showcasing talented makers working with both traditional and more innovative materials and methods. Whether you're a jeweller, music instrument maker, a knitter, an illustrator, a gardener, a potter or anything in between, we are looking to provide space for our visitors to see your talents, buy your beautiful creations and become immersed in the vibrancy of Nottingham's craft scene.
We are currently accepting applications to book stalls and would love to hear from you. Please note that this is not a food fair and sale of food or drinks is not permitted.
Please download and complete the application form below, and send with 4 images of your work to email@example.com.
It is FREE to apply and FREE to sell your work. NAE does not take commission on sales.
This is a rolling application process and once we're full, we're full.
If you have any questions, please get in touch as soon as possible on 0115 924 8630.
NAE's Craft & Culture Fair aims to be a space where a combination of very local and less-experienced makers/designers/artists have opportunity to sell their work. We do not charge to book a stall, we don't take commission and we don't charge entry to the event. This is a space for stall holders and visitors to connect.
In line with NAE's wider remit of promoting and supporting diversity, we encourage traders of BAME, disabled and LGBT+ backgrounds to apply, although anyone is welcome to put their work forward, especially those local to Hyson Green and surrounding areas. We aim to create an inclusive space, where all are welcome, and the work on sale is star of the show.
We will always try to find balance between the product types on sale, to ensure that all our visitors can hopefully find something of interest.
We are looking to create the best experience for our visitors and this means we aim to host stall holders selling quality products and delivering a quality service to their customers.
Where possible we aim to provide opportunity for less-experienced makers/producers to sell their work.
NAE has final say in the selection of stalls and this is not a definitive list of selection factors.
