New Art Exchange is an art centre and resisted charity (no. 1121755). We are committed to protecting your privacy. All information we retain is collected and held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018, which comes into effect from 25 May 2018.

Commitment to Data Security
To prevent unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your data we have implemented manual and electronic processes make sure the information we collect online and offline is kept secure.

Ways we Collect Data
We will only collect data from you when you request to join our email list through a double opt in process online, or by a single opt in process at our venue; if you book a ticket through our online ticketing system or join our membership scheme. The ticketing system and email software are delivered through third-party platforms which has measures in place to keep your data secure and complies with the new GDPR regulation.

Email newsletter and event booking
Your email address is the only compulsory information that you need to supply to join our emailing list or to book an event. Additional information is optional and is only used by us to gain insight into our visitors location and interests.

By joining our emailing list we will send you emails to keep you up to date with news, exhibitions, fundraising activities and occasionally information from key partners that are also funded by Arts Council England which you have indicated will be of interest to you.

Membership Scheme
If you join our membership scheme we will save your email address and postal address so that we can send you information that is connected with the scheme. Payment is made through a third party platform and details are not retained by us.

Opting Out
There are clear instructions on how to unsubscribe or update your preferences in every email we send. You can also contact us on 0115 924 8630 or email info@nae.org.uk to be removed from the mailing list.

We use Google Analytics to collect information about how our visitors use and navigate this website. We use this information to monitor, analyse and improve the website.

As part of a visit to the gallery or one of its events you may be asked to fill in a survey about your experience, we may occasionally send you an online survey. The results help us learn more about our audiences and are shared with our core funders.
