ANGOLAN HERITAGE AND CULTURE WORKSHOPS

A workshop covering the history, heritage, and culture of Angola from the 1490s and the effects of colonialism, independence in 1975 and the civil war in 2002. The workshops will be led by Paula D Pontes and provide the connection for the Angolan diaspora and its importance for people who make a home in a land that they are not native to. Followed by a Q&A.
