CITIZEN ACTION AND COLLECTIVE IMAGINATION DISCUSSION

Drawing on research undertaken for his exhibition Hyson Green Workshops: Citizen Design Activism designer Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad presents his findings around this often overlooked element of Nottingham’s housing history. Situated between art, architecture and community action, the event will mark the culmination of months of research, as Hashemi-Nezhad is joined by a varied panel of Nottingham voices to examine the ideas behind Hyson Green Workshops in relation to modes of citizen-led design and the role of community makerspaces in Nottingham today.
