Illuminated

Illuminated is the product of a group of artists who have worked both collaboratively and independently to create their own autobiographical account of ‘mental illness’. It’s intention is to educate, inform and ultimately enlighten others on this mysterious malaise of the mind.

Through photography, installation, technical drawing and photomontage, Illuminated precedes Mental Health Awareness Week which runs from 13 – 17 May 2013.

The artists of Illuminated are Charlotte Allchurch, Kayrakise Evans, Mark Lindsay and Simone Pinkett. The project has been coordinated by Nottingham Photographers’ Hub (NPH).
