Story Exchange

1 Jan, 1970 at 12:00 am - 15 Mar, 2020 at 12:00 am

Join poet and educator Panya Banjoko and Master’s students from Nottingham Trent University’s School of Art for a relaxed Sunday afternoon sharing food and stories in our CaféBar.

Taking inspiration from Dawinder Bansal’s Jambo Cinema and to mark its closing, they will be celebrating local community stories. Come along to this social gathering to explore the experience of arriving, living and growing up in Nottingham together, exchanging memories across cultures to make new connections and share first, second and third-generation stories. Refreshments will be provided.
