Vidya Patel and Shammi Pithia Converse

Vidya Patel and Shammi Pithia present an extraordinary conversation between Kathak dance and live contemporary music. After performing together in the internationally successful About the Elephant, the dance artist and skilled multi-instrumentalist join forces once again in their newest collaboration, Converse.

Through a journey of solos and duets, the young artists create a mesmerising atmosphere of harmony and frisson as they combine traditional and original elements of their respective art-forms. This is a chance to see creative cohesion at its finest.

Vidya and Shammi will be joined by Kathak dancer Jaina Modasia and musician Michael Goodey, with vocals and sitar from Debipriya Sircar.
