#ItStartedBy: YARD Performance (Older Group) | Performance Space | 3-3.45pm

Juliet meets her Romeo, but not all ‘on screen’ are the same as ‘behind the scenes’.  #ItStartedBy is a relevant and timely short play devised by the ‘Yard Youth Theatre’ older group.

Social media is a must-have for teens. But navigating the delights and dangers can be costly, as Juliet finds out. This play gives a real insight into the lives of three friends and explores the pressures of friendships, trust, and betrayals.

The performance will start with a physical theatre piece in the café bar area. Then the audience will be prompted by the cast to ‘#FollowUs’ upstairs to the performance space for the continuation of the play.

#ItStartedBy will be followed by a post-show discussion facilitated

by the young people featuring their YOUnique voices.
