This is an exciting time to join the New Art Exchange as the gallery is moving through a period of change with ambitious plans for growth and expansion.
The General Manager will play a pivotal role in the overall success and sustainability of New Art Exchange, leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a truly amazing visitor experience.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the General Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of a number of key operational functions, including responsibility for ensuring the profitable operation of NAE’s Cafébar, growing venue hire and event services, ensuring excellent customer service through the Front of House team, and overseeing the strategic maintenance and upkeep of our building.
You will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure that NAE is well positioned to meet its financial targets while also aligning with the gallery’s mission and values. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a unique and creative setting.
We are interested in hearing from candidates with a range of experiences across hospitality, venue and operations management who are passionate about our citizen-led approach and can bring operational expertise and entrepreneurial flair to this role.
