Culture Cloud: Your Exhibition

Main Gallery

Culture Cloud is a digital space for artists to upload two-dimensional art work onto a web portal where recognised curators, along with public audiences, will vote for the works they like. The initiative is open to any UK based artist to submit their work.

In this exhibition, for the first time, the audience play an active role in the curatorial process. Using the Facebook 'liking' system, you will vote for the art you want to see in this exhibition, thus transforming how galleries work with local communities and digital audiences in curating public spaces. Between 4 June and 5 July your votes will shape a shortlist of 30 artworks to be shown here at New Art Exchange. These pieces will also be in the running for coveted prizes awarded at the close of the project.

The overall winners of Culture Cloud will receive a cash prize of up to £2000, a personal iPad app and the possibility of a solo show at New Art Exchange in the future.

For details of how to submit art work for Culture Cloud and how to get involved with the voting process see and ensure you like our Culture Cloud Facebook page.
