Exchange

Exchange is the final phase in NAE’s developmental cycle.

It’s focused on amplifying the impact and reach of the Global Ethnic Majority in the creative industries – locally and internationally. This stage creates global artist exchanges and facilitates knowledge sharing among cultural organisations that are also committed to including citizen voices in their frameworks.

Key Activities:

Artist Exchange: This supports artists from the Global Ethnic Majority by providing opportunities for international collaboration, residencies, and cultural exchanges. This global network means that artists can share their work and collaborate on projects without geographical boundaries. This initiative aims to enrich the artists’ creative practices, offer exposure to new audiences, and encourage cross-cultural dialogue and understanding.

Cultural Organisation Collaboration: This part is focused on building long-term relationships with cultural organisations (worldwide) that prioritise public voices in their decision-making processes. These partnerships will mean we can share best practice, methods and approaches for citizen engagement and leadership.
