The Psychosis of Whiteness

All Black Connect present this screening of Eugene Nulman and Kehinde Andrews’ The Psychosis of Whiteness (2018). Shedding light on society’s perceptions of race and racism, the film exploring cinematic representations of the slave trade. Taking an indepth look at big budget films that focus on the transatlantic slave trade the film argues that these depictions are metaphoric hallucinations about race.
