DJ set by Raheel Khan (PART OF THE ELEVATE SEASON LAUNCH)

Part of the Elevate season launch celebration. Raheel Khan is a Nottingham-born artist and musician working across sculpture, sound and installation. Originally studying Economics, he has moved towards a practice that explores the creeping social phenomena around belief systems, whilst re-coordinating the narratives driven from media, personal histories, popular culture and hyper-commercialisation. Raheel’s radio broadcasts are described as a collage of composition, creating a sonic entrance to textures, archived interviews, records and YouTube-rips of the past, present and future. Raheels sets have been performed and broadcast at BBC 6 Music, BBC Maida Vale, Whitechapel Gallery, Tramway Gallery and Glastonbury.
