Nottingham Global Roots Festival

Join Nottingham Global Roots Festival for their second year at NAE, with their ‘Represent!’ live music showcase, bringing hip-hop, reggae, steel pan, soca and contemporary music into the cafébar space.
Live performances from Lekky, Entertainers Steel Band (duo), LeeN, Lady Rose and a DJ set to end, celebrating reggae & soca music from awarding winning international DJ, Serocee (Rum N Bass). DJ Suga Lion will be entertaining us in between the live sets.
This year, there’ll also be a Global Market in the performance space, and a chill-out room filled with arty activities for children & families (hosted by Freedom Arts).
The event will be hosted by Rastarella, Jude and the 2023 Nottingham Global Roots mentorship team members, Barbara, Ellie, Eniola and Marva.
